The Lake Blackshear Regional Library System welcomes donations and memorial gifts according to the following guidelines:

Financial Support:

Monetary donations are accepted in the form of cash, personal check, or money order. Please make your check payable to the library to which you are donating. A receipt for your tax-deductible donation will be furnished.
Funds donated are used to support the purchase of new materials for the library’s collection, and you may choose to designate the use of your gift toward adult reading materials, children’s reading materials, the annual Vacation Reading Program for children, or for the greatest need.

Memorial Gifts:

Monetary and book gifts to memorialize and honor individuals are welcome. Donors may give a book or select a title for acquisition with their gift. A book plate will be added commemorating the gift. Both the donor and the honoree (or their family) will receive written acknowledgment of the gift.
Please click HERE for a form to accompany your memorial gift.

Donations of Gently Used Books, CDs & DVDs:

Our library system is happy to accept gently used books, CDs, DVDs and other materials which may be sold in our Friends of the Library Book Sale. Once donated all materials become the property of the library. A receipt for your donation for income tax purposes will be issued upon request.
